Hamper of Hope

Medallion Homes are proud to be long term supporters of The Salvation Army and the amazing work they do, particularly with families in crisis and domestic violence.

In 2011, Medallion Homes were proud to have supported The Salvation Army by building two purpose-designed homes to provide supported crisis accommodation for single women and women with children, escaping family violence.
Known as the Domestic Violence Accommodation Project, these homes have since housed over 60 women and 62 children annually – that's over 300 families to date that have benefited from having a safe shelter in times of need.

This year, we are proud once again to support The Salvation Army – this time with their Hamper of Hope Appeal.
While many of us will be surrounded by our loved ones this Christmas, enjoying a well cooked meal and gifts under the tree, many other Australians cannot afford to buy gifts for their children, nor will they sit down to a Christmas meal.
The Salvation Army hopes to help these families in need with their food and toy drive – the Hamper of Hope.

The Medallion Homes staff have once again shown such amazing support for The Salvation Army, bringing in toys, clothing and an abundance of food items that will ensure Christmas will be that little bit merrier for those families in our community that really struggle at this time of year.
Again, Medallion would like to say a big thank you to our generous staff in opening their hearts to this appeal and to the wonderful support The Salvation Army provide.
